La Cumbrecita is one of the most popular viewpoints and short walks on the island, due to its great beauty, low difficulty and beautiful panoramic views of La Caldera de Taburiente National Park. The parking area is not very large, so it is necessary to make a free reservation in advance for the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Visitor Center of the Caldera de Taburiente. For visits after 4:00 p.m. it is not necessary to reserve. You can also get on at any time using taxis that depart from the  visitors Center   and whose normal rate is   € 9 to be shared between the occupants.
